Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position requires well-organized, detail-oriented planners who can multi-task and operate efficiently and effectively in a collaborative environment
- Candidate must have demonstrated the ability to plan and execute a detailed project effectively from design through installation, including project schedule and cost status
- Works closely and provides direction to internal project teams and departments
- Communicates effectively to clients, contractors and consultants
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and meet specified gross profit
- Manage day to day aspects of a group of projects. This will include the full scope of work which includes bidding, design, engineering, manufacturing, shipping, installation and project closeout
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in project management, construction management or within an industry related field
- Able to review and understand blueprints, site drawings and architectural documents
- Experience in sign or manufacturing industries preferred
- 3-4 years of experience in project management, operations management or construction management
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Ability and willingness to travel both locally and to project sites throughout the US and Canada. Able to work overtime as required
- Knowledge of software applications (e.g. MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Bilingual candidates desired, but not required
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Job Summary:
This position is a member of the Production Team, reports directly to the Paint Supervisor. Prepares signs for paint application per customer specifications and internal quality standards. This position will work in conjunction with the Production Team in the finishing of signs.
Required Qualifications and Duties Include:
- Prep various substrates to established standards using proper sandpaper to promote adhesion
- Effectively manage time and priorities to meet deadlines
- Ability to read paint call outs on P-Prints and determine appropriate process to be used
- Accurately mix and apply bond, putty
- Properly mix and spray primes and under coats
- Consistently review jobs to detect and resolve errors in prep. (dents, dings, deep scrapes, unfilled seams)
- Document paint and primer usage and maintain V.O.C Logs
- Reference MDSD sheets as necessary to fully understand product interactions
- Complete familiarity and consistent use of proper safety equipment
- Maintain work area and tools in a clean and safe manner
- Maintain adequate inventory levels and alert supervisor when low to avoid interruption of workflow
- Demonstrate good work ethic and working relationship with co-workers
- Accurately complete timecards on a daily basis and turn in to supervisor for approval
- Attend monthly safety meetings as required of production staff
- Any other job duties as needed by Paint Supervisor
- Certification in Paint Gun techniques
- Ability to identify surfaces that have been properly prepped for paint adhesion
- Must be able to perform basic math and understand weights and measures
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sign shop, specifically vinyl sign application
- Experience using a vinyl plotter, and application of various types of vinyl
- Skilled in application of large format digital graphics
- Must be able to lift sign materials up to 50 lbs. and be in good health

This position will work in Signtech’s fabrication shop to read blue prints to MIG weld metal for custom signage. Individual will comply with all safety procedures. Attention to detail and strict self-motivated quality control is necessary to succeed.

The position will consist of producing detailed drawings using the latest version of the 3D CAD software, SolidWorks. Preferably, individual will have weldments/sheet metal design, welding and manufacturing experience. The position is to work in a team environment, while managing individual tasks. This position will consist of creating design drawings of national retail clients’ brands. Designer works closely with project management team to create design drawings for customer approvals and with engineering team to create blue prints for custom signage. Consideration will be given to candidates with an appropriate level of technical aptitude and a strong desire to learn.
